AgrowKnowledge Interest Inventory Tool & Employment Corner
(8/28/2008)If you haven't noticed AgrowKnowledge has made some changes to the navigation of its website. We have recently added in an "Employment Corner" to provide visitors with readily available information about careers in Agriculture through partnering agency, AgCareers.com. We have also added an "Interest Inventory Tool" that was developed in part by a AgrowKnowledge Technology Grant to Bismarck State College. Feel free to explore the Interest Inventory Tool and tell us what you think!

AgrowKnowledge Welcomes New Office Coordinator

Holly Feldman will assume the position as the AgrowKnowledge office coordinator filling the position vacancy created when Josie Bosie moved. We are looking forward to Holly working with the staff and members of AgrowKnowledge. As the office coordinator she will be the “first contact” in the Cedar Rapids office on the Kirkwood Community College campus. Holly is originally from Farmersburg, IA -- a very small town up in northeastern Iowa, population 300.

Listing and Review of Biotech BooksThis review and listing began with Jim DeKloe when working with Matt Croughan during a sabbatical at Genentech. (Matt served as his sponsor there.) The list was put in the public domain from a listserv and Rick Parker modified the layout and format of the list to be more useful. The table of contents now links to the major sections of the list. This is a very complete list ranging from the business side of biotechnology to those who oppose biotechnology to food biochemistry (somewhat related).
