	Model Plan of Study: GPS Field Data Collector A person in this career would be responsible for collecting soil and crop data from an agricultural field. He or she would work with the individual farmer / producer to collect soil samples that will give an accurate map of the nutrient levels in the field. This person would also scout for pests and abnormal conditions in the field. During harvest season this person would process the yield maps collected from a combine yield monitoring system into usable maps. <more>
	Model Plan of Study: Agriculture GIS Analyst A person in this career would be responsible for analyzing information collected from agricultural fields and crops. Creating maps that explain and interpret the information to help farmers make decisions is the main objective of a GIS Analyst. These decisions will deal with environmental and economic issues that are most suitable for a computer and GIS (Geographic Information System) to analyze. <more>
