| What does membership in AgrowKnowledge include? |
| Membership in AgrowKnowledge currently gives members a copy of AgrowKnowledge’s 2008-2009 calendar, discount for AgrowKnowledge events, early registration for AgrowKnowledge sponsored events and workshops, member only contests, and advanced notice for agrowKnowledge events. Membership benefits are being added continually, and will be announced through the AgrowKnowledge site and our mailing list. |
| Who is eligible for General Registration? |
| Anyone is eligible for AgrowKnowledge's General Registration. This is the registration that will allow you to become an official member in the future of AgrowKnowledge. |
| When can I register for the national conference? |
| Registration starts on February 1st and continues through the first day of the conference. |
| Can I attend the conference for just one day? |
| There are no reduced fees for partial attendance, so we encourage conference participants to participate each day of an event. |
| What are accepted forms of payment for registration? |
You can pay with a MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover Card.
You can also register by phone with a credit card or purchase order. Call (866) 424-5669, 8:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m. (Central Time), Monday through Friday. |
| If I am unable to attend, what is the cancellation policy? |
Conference cancellations must be made in writing (email acceptable) no later than May 2nd, 2008 for a refund. A deduction of $50.00 ($70 if registered for both workshop and pre-conference workshop) from registration costs will be made on all cancellations made after March 1st.
AgrowKnowledge accepts substitutions for participants unable to attend the conference. Please notify AgrowKnowledge if you wish to have someone attend in your place. |
| Where can I find information regarding air travel, car rentals, hotels, restaurants, driving directions, and maps of the area? |

| Is transportation provided between the airport, hotels, and the conference? |
| Contact the Clarion hotel to set up a shuttle from the airport to hotel. Their number is 319-366-8671 or
toll free 1-877-949-2992. AgrowKnowledge will provide transportation from the hotel to the conference center. |
| Does the conference price include meals and lodging? |
| The conference price includes all breaks and lunch on the days of the conference and pre-conference if you have registered. A complementary Hot Breakfast is available at the Clarion Hotel. Conference price does not include hotel lodging. |
| Who qualifies for the student rate? |
| Any student at a college or high school is qualified for the student rate. Please fax or mail AgrowKnowledge a copy of your student ID at (319) 398-7109 if you are applying for the conference at the student rate. Student applications cannot be processed without a copy of your Student ID. |
| When will I receive my conference badge and conference program? |
| Conference badges and programs will be available for pick up starting Wednesday, May 28th at the Clarion Hotel in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will also be able to pick up your badges/conference programs any time during the conference. There is also an continually updated schedule of the conference on this website. |
| Can I earn credit for attending the AgrowKnowledge 2008 conference? |
| Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be available for participating in the AgrowKnowledge 2008 Conference. More information coming soon. |
| Will AgrowKnowledge offer scholarships to help cover the costs of attending the conference? |
AgrowKnowledge has 30 scholarships available to help reimburse conference participants. The scholarship is based on several factors such as need, participation in past AgrowKnowledge events and qualifications.
